The name Hon Ba is probably still unfamiliar to many tourists, but for local people, this is like “Dalat in the heart of the coastal city”. It is compared to that because Hon Ba peak is beautiful like a fairy hidden in the foggy forest, cold air.
Hon Ba is about 2 hours from Nha Trang city by road, and you have to climb a slope to reach the top of the mountain. Hon Ba Peak is about 1,600m above sea level, in the middle of a hot summer day, the temperature here is only about 18 degrees.
Hon Ba has fresh air, majestic wild scenery. Hon Ba Nature Reserve has a rich diversity of flora and fauna, many of which are rare and listed in the red book. Visitors coming to Hon Ba enjoy the feeling of mingling with the sky and clouds, watching the sunrise from the distant horizon. The highlight to attract tourists here is the wooden house relic of Dr. A. Yersin, as recorded, this is the place where Yersin used to research and grow rare medicinal herbs.
